Jens Jungblut is the Norwegian board member of SCANCOR and an associate professor at the Department of Political Science at the University of Oslo.

His main research interests include among other things party politics, policy-making, and public governance in the knowledge policy domain (higher education & research), organizational change in public sector institutions, and the role of (academic) expertise in policy advice. He has been a member of the SCANCOR board since 2019.

Jens previously was the Norwegian postdoctoral research fellow at SCANCOR at Stanford University and worked as a postdoctoral researcher and coordinator of the research area “Governance and Organization” at the International Centre for Higher Education Research (INCHER) at the University of Kassel (Germany). He received his PhD in 2016 from the University of Oslo.
