Anna Lukkarinen conducts research on sustainability and ethics in entrepreneurial finance. More specifically, she is evaluating how crowd investors react to sustainability signals, how startups’ sustainability evolves over time, and how entrepreneurs exaggerate when raising funds. Anna works at the Department of Management Science and Engineering with Professor Riitta Katila. Before Stanford, Anna worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto University, where she investigated investment activity in equity crowdfunding. Before academia, Anna worked in management consulting at McKinsey & Company and in investment banking at Citigroup.
