Short and informal visits to Stanford

We welcome alumni and other friends passing through Stanford to visit us in CERAS 123.  Please come at any time during regular business hours, and plan to participate in SCANCOR workshops, seminars, and networking events that are scheduled during your time here.

Please note that we are able to offer desk space only to those who apply through our formal application protocol.

Effective in January 2010, Stanford University policy enables us to apply for institutional access only for eligible visitors who are in residence for one quarter or longer.

For short and informal visits, Stanford's libraries offer guest passes:

Libraries: Independent scholars and researchers not officially sponsored by Stanford as Visiting Scholars are eligible for one seven-day courtesy visit card within a twelve-month period, or may purchase a card for library access (but not borrowing privileges).  Fees range from $2.00 per day to $15.00 for one month.

Visitors seeking a library courtesy pass must register at the main entrance of Green Library. A current photo ID must be presented along with the courtesy pass for library admission.

We look forward to seeing you!
